Walk across Rainbow Bridge
Did you know you can cross Rinkai's symbolic landmark, Rainbow Bridge, on foot? Leisurely take in the views that train and car passengers only quickly glimpse. And of course, it's free! Bicycles, however, are prohibited.

Two Routes, Two Views
Crossing the bridge on the more popular south side offers a view of Odaiba, while the north route offers a view of Harumi. It takes 20-30 minutes to cross the 1.7km bridge, which is suspended 52.4 meters above the bay. Open to pedestrians from 9:00-21:00 April through October and 10:00-18:00 November through March (entrance until 30 minutes before closing). There is a midway rest and view point, and the bridge is safe for persons in wheelchairs.

But I really want to take my bike....
Bicycles are not allowed on the bridge. But take heart, because bicycles are permitted on any of the waterbuses that cross the bay. Pedaling over the ocean may be out of the question, but you can still enjoy Rinkai's many other attractions by cycle.
